Odds are that blur is in the flick.. He had the same blur in the short flick this is based on. It’s a spoof on documentaries where they were not able to get a release to use the person in the flick, so they blur it out to avoid legal issues.

And to anyone saying “They should have done the Halo movie instead of this!”, the studios weren’t going to pay for the Halo flick for 2 reasons:

1) They wanted too much money to make the flick as it is and…
2) Because the director was new to the full length game the studios especially weren’t going to spend that money on someone they didn’t know could handle the job.

This flick is kind of their “see? see!?” to the studios who’d be handling funding, to prove that Neill CAN direct a full length flick.

After this comes out and makes at least what was spent on it back, the studios will likely change their minds and Halo will be on the fast track to getting made. Hopefully it’ll be out by 2011/12 and no later.
