It’s Sunday night and just a perfect time for me to post before I sleep. How’s my class doing?

Everyone is aware that the Valentine’s Day just passed and I was able to post the Free 2009 Valentine’s E-Card right? Now let’s talk more about love. But this time, on how you will be able to [tag]make your readers fall in love with your blog[/tag] (not with you personally I ain’t no love guru haha!). Here’s how I was able to collect a bunch of readers right in 3 months (my site age).

1. Interact with your readers, reply on their posts. The common mistake of bloggers is that all that matters is a bunch of replies, without even reading them. Spend some time doing it, and respond accordingly. I just read a recent article saying the more your blog acts as a “FAQ”, the higher rankings you get and the more readers you feed.

2. These readers usually have a blog as well, read it. There’s a simple saying that “no man is an island”. When people respond to your articles, check their site as well and comment on them. Blogging is as two-way communication. If you lose interactivity, soon you’ll lose readers.

3. Keep the “need” value. These readers will look at your articles obviously to learn something that’s part of their interest. Keep the niche. Most of them just don’t want to learn, but further, [tag]seek answers[/tag] from their questions. So keep in mind to know what readers need, and fulfill them. “needs” is more important than “wants”.

4. Make them feel like home. A blog is usually a place to read something on, a place to relax and check on something new, or a pad with bunch of foods! (nah just kiddin’). But seriously, this would be one of the tips you should never forget. It’s like having a “good stranger” visit your house. If you’ll make them feel like home, they will most probably be a  friend and have an exchange of experience and information.

5. Love your own blog before you make other people feel the same! This is a no-brainer tip. “You must [tag]love yourself[/tag] before you love love another. You must love yourself before make other people love you.”
