Here’s the Cealagar ways to promote your site without the aid of an internet connection, or rather, your computer:
1. Modify your usual calling cards. I haven’t been through any bloggers’ event recently. The last time I was able to send time with the popular bloggers was during the TV5 Blogger’s Event. I observed that most of the people around were distributing their own “Website Optimized” calling cards. Given for example is Jehzlau’s personalized calling card. Here’s my own:
2. Let your friends know. Believe me, your first set of website fans and subscribers would be your real friends. Just message them and encourage them to subscribe to your feeds or e-mail. That gives you your first 20-30 subscribers on your feed say for example FeedBurner.
3. Advertise the “Market” way. Promoting your site to people, even those you don’t know is almost the same as marketing a product to sell. If you can promote your site through television ads… better (not that I’m asking you to do). You can print your site on a t-shirt, put your site address in everything you sell, send mails with your site address in it, put watermarks of your site in all your writings, just everything that you can imagine to let everyone know.
4. Word of mouth. One of the most effective ways of encouraging people to get a sneak on your page is to tell people personally to check out your site. I’m currently doing this since my website got up. As of this post, you wouldn’t believe me, but my site age is just… 2 weeks just yet! And I never lose visitors for once.

Now let’s talk more about this “promotion” thing… online:
1. Link Exchange. This is a very interesting topic that I’ll tackle soon. To make the story short for now, link exchange means trading website link with somebody else. For example, www.cealagar.com and cealagar.blogspot.com . How will you start? Create a link going to that site, then ask them to link back to you. We will discuss more of this in my next article.
2. Posting a catchy item. If you’ll observe, the McDonald’s Spoof is one of my tactics to catch people’s attention. Here in Philippines, the original version of that TV Ad became spectacularly popular in the Philippines television. Then one thing popped on my mind; why not make a brief modification of the ad that will interest viewers the same manner they appreciated the original one? The El-Bimba came.
3. More EntreCard dropping, more MyBlogLog contacts. I know, I already told you this. But the main reason why I said this is because this is one of the main reason why I never lose visitors. I already have 7,000 MyBlogLog contacts and more EC drops per day. This time, take the 300-drops-per-day EC dropping, and 1,000 per day MBL contact adding. This surely takes a lot of efforts, but pays great.

You can start researching and doing these next set of tips soon as you read this. You’ll obviously keep yourself busy completing these steps for weeks. No worries, this is a guaranteed traffic for your website.
